Job Description
10+Years of experience in application design, architecture and development using Java/JEE, Python, Microservices, Databases
– Proficient in solution design, design patterns, best practices, code quality and usage of software tools and techniques
– Exposure to Bigdata technology experience like Kafka, Hadoop, Spark,HDFS etc.
– Familiar with Spark framework (Spark Batch Processing, Spark Streaming and Spark SQL).
– Good understanding of databases and SQL/No-SQL.
– Good understanding of integration technologies like SFTP, Webservices, Messaging APIs like JMS, or MQ
– Familiar with DevOps tools like (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Rundeck etc.)
– Ability to look at the big picture and display Systems Thinking to improve efficiency and be unafraid to raise issues or challenge the status-quo.
– Have experience running projects using Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban or XP
– Knowledge of trade and settlement processing in Securities/Bonds or Equities would be an added advantage
