Job Description
Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain a Security Clearance for access to classified information. An Active Secret Clearance is desired.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client’s Information Integration and Decision Support Group is seeking a software developer to help build an architecture for tactical dissemination of high precision space data. This software will use modern messaging services, data models, databases and processing algorithms. This position will work with other developers to build a government reference design architecture that can be transitioned to industry.
Skills: Required
Candidate must have experience in a high-level programming language like Java Candidate must have the ability to write scalable and maintainable code;
Skills: Preferred
Experience implementing algorithms in some programming language Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases Experience with Build tools like Ant and Maven; Experience with other modern scripting languages like Perl, Python, Ruby & Matlab;
Education/Professional Certifications/Substituting Off-Set:
BS plus 1 year minimum experience, Associates Degree plus 2 years minimum experience, or Technical School Certificate plus 3 years minimum experience
