JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented video editor with 1+ year experience to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the vision and is suitable according to the requirements. This is an action-packed position with an opportunity to understand the dynamics of a rapidly growing start-up. The candidate is sure to learn how to become a seasoned video maker. Responsibilities and Duties
1. Should be able to understand the objectives, needs, and specifications set by the team and come up with the required solutions
2. Manage the overall video production (from editing the raw news video, adding necessary animation, special effects, develop graphics, animations, videos and integrate voiceovers etc)
3. Edit videos submitted by journalists in the prescribed format and create news videos/ explainer videos along with one of the founders.
4. Create design templates, layouts, and structure of the news videos and work on motion graphics.
5. Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video and input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
6. Create rough and final cuts and ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
7. Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industrys best practices to maximize efficiency
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
1. Any graduate (bachelors degree in animation or media arts would be a plus)
2. Knowledge of Telugu language is a must.
3. Proven work experience as a video editor. (At least 1 year)
4. Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe InDesign
5. Good communication and writing skills. Creative mind and storytelling skills
are a massive plus.
6. Should have creativity, a good eye for detail along with strong visual skills
7. Based on feedback, work to refine and come up with new ideas for visual content.
