Senior Backend Developer Full Time

Position: Sr. Backed Developer

Job Location: Kochi

Interview Process : Skype/Telephonic

Must have

1.         Experience in designing scalable architecture. (High TPS & large databases involved)

2.         Develop and improve upon our current feature set using clean, concrete and well-tested APIs.

3.         Implement appropriate monitoring and alerting, in terms of performance and availability, on new and existing features owned by the team.

4.         Proficient in NodeJS, Express and MongoDB.

5.         Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

6.         Collaborate with Product and Design to iterate on our product.

7.         Participate in design and code reviews.

Nice to have

1.         Experience in data/analytics domain.

2.         Being language and platform neutral.

3.         Willingness to follow/learn emerging technologies.

4.         Capable of leading and growing a team of senior engineers.

Technical Competencies

1.Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer.

2. You understand software programming, SDLC, Database designs, client server architecture and scalability, linux system and devops,firewalls, web based solutions.

3.  Comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), continuous integration, agile software development methodologies, values and procedures.

4.Proven experience in coding highly scalable systems.

5.Proven experience in system, network, database, web designing and development

6.   Good Knowledge of highly available, highly scalable cloud / standalone infrastructures (AWS or alike) and continuous delivery

7.   Proven Leadership and organisational abilities

8.  Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into technical applications and products

9.   Some experience in analytical products / mobile analytics / Data visualisation

10.   Advantage for people who have experience in machine learning / neural networks / data prediction modelling / or any AI frameworks

11.  Advantage for people who worked in startup?s and build products from ground

Technical Stack & tools:

People should have exposure in some of the below technologies

1.         Programming Languages: Go, Ruby, JavaScript, Java, Python,

2.         Frameworks / Libraries / others: Node JS, react Js, Rails, highCharts, d3 charts, BizCharts, kafka, Hadoop, Spark

Qualifications

B-Tech / MS / M-Tech – Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or similar
