Junior Data Analyst – Periscope Full Time

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree is a plus
- 1+ years of relevant and professional work experience with a reputed analytics firm
- Expertise in handling large amounts of data through SQL, T-SQL or PL-SQL
- Strong knowledge and experience in scripting languages such as Python, Perl or Shell
- Strong coding/development abilities in the field of data manipulation and ETL
- Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources and automation of data processes
- Good understanding of data-warehousing and data lake concepts
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will work with the data services team to perform data transformations, modeling and validation activities, as well configure applications to client context.
In this role you will work in close collaboration with the service management team and depend on the context of your engagement, you will work locally with the client service team and/or the client.
As a junior analyst, you will develop complex algorithms in SQL, based on discussions with Service Delivery team, develop scripts to validate, transform and load raw data using programming languages such as Python, Perl or Shell.
In addition, you will conduct data assessment, perform data quality checks and transform data using SQL and ETL tools; and develop a deep understanding of the domain/function (across pricing, promotions and assortment). You will support on going business processes by delivering high quality products.
