Job Description
The Job involves analytical, presentation and business management skills. Also involves working on various strategic projects simultaneously, research work and relationship management with key large stake holder’s worldwide. An extension of the President’s office with focus on building strategic value to the organization and its expansion plans.
Uphold strict level of confidentiality.
Complete special projects as assigned by president. May include creative problem solving, progress oversight, working with multiple company departments and extensive company research.
Maintain effective daily operations and make suggestions for process improvements when necessary.
Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the President including: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
Plans, coordinates and ensures the President’s schedule is followed and respected. Communicates directly, and on behalf of the President, with Board members, donors, Foundation staff, and others, on matters related to President’s programmatic initiatives.
Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the President, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the President’s office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.
Works closely and effectively with the President to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities
Develop itineraries and agendas including scheduling flights, arranging other transportation and book accommodations.
Ideal Candidate must have :
MBA Degree
3-5 years of experience as an executive assistant
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail- and deadline-oriented multitasker
Ability to make strong decisions under pressure
Strong organizational & Analytical skills
High proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint
Makes travel arrangements and develops itineraries
Manages the presidents schedule, making appointments and meetings
Acts as a liaison between executives and the president
