Security Compliance Analyst Full Time

The team:
Customers trust Iterable with their marketing and sensitive information, expecting us to safeguard their data. Iterable’s security team leads a cross-functional effort across the company to ensure that all systems remain secure in support of Iterable’s core values, and to provide assurance to our customers that we will be the good stewards of their valued data. The Iterable security team actively collaborates and leads the effort to build Iterable’s security architecture in concert with other groups as they develop or launch new features and services. As engineers, we believe in security through automation, our footprint spans across the entire company at all levels, from production to campus technology.
We aim to create a compelling, well documented and holistically monitored security program. We are looking for talented individuals to move the current state of security to the next level. Our vision is to not only improve application security, it is also to develop the necessary tooling to help the rest of the team (e.g., compliance) to collect and analyze data points with ease. This opportunity is exciting because:
- Communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and executives
- Ongoing review, documentation, evaluation, and testing across all software applications
- Develop and fine-tune company policies surrounding data permissibility, due diligence and review procedures
- Understand business needs, identify potential risks and recommend pragmatic solutions
- Educate employees on the importance of compliance, risk, privacy, and security
- Determine technical and business impact of identified security and control issues and provide remediation guidance
You’re a great fit for the role if you:
- 3-5 years experience with IT Audit, Compliance, Risk, Privacy and Security related work
- Eager to learn about data privacy and consumer protection
- Focused attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Prior experience performing IT risk assessments and advisory on applicable IT controls
- Experience with IT internal controls, data privacy, and information system support processes
- Previous experience conducting SOC 2 Type 2 audits
- Competently analyzes and prioritizes information to make appropriate recommendations
- Ability to synthesize all forms of research into clear, thoughtful and actionable deliverables
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Bonus Points:
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, and/or CIPP
- Previous working experience with Open Source technologies
- Familiarity with Cloud service such as Amazon Web Services
