Server Program Management Director Full Time
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Govern program end to end execution.
Drive compliance with Dell’s Offer Lifecycle Process (OLP) and ISO.
Ensures proper cross-functional leadership alignment and approvals are obtained.
Responsible for hiring, coaching and development of team members.
Drives decision making process for critical product holds/stop ships.
Leads resolution of complex cross functional escalations.
Ability to influence at the senior executive level.
Ability to manage, lead and influence cross-functionally (procurement, sales, engineering, services, operations, quality, etc.).
Lead program management activities across multiple development centers and at a regional level
Qualifications and Experience:
Engineering degree with 10+ years of relevant work experience in more than one functional discipline (E.g. Engineering, Operations, Quality, Marketing) and 3+ years of people management preferred. An MBA is a plus.
Strong leadership, command, organization, planning and influence skills
Ability to present clear and concise information to senior executives as well as internal and external customers
Strong business acumen
Expertise in product development / lifecycle processes and management
Experience in program management including product / schedule planning and senior executive interaction
Experience leading broad cross functional teams
Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment
Ability to analyze, set priorities, and solve complex problems
Ability to lead cross-functional teams / stakeholders through resolution of complex problems
Ability to build effective teams
Ability to deal with ambiguity
