Senior Analyst (Market Research) – Tech -Thematic Research Division Full Time
Job Description
-Writing client ready thematic research reports on the global technology, media and telecommunication (TMT) sectors covering themes like Data centres, Memory chips, Machine learning, Internet TV, Augmented Reality, Blockchain and Cloud computing.
-Ability to quickly build understanding of the research topic and analyse global top trends and drivers through in-depth market research.
-Studying competitive landscape in the market to benchmark and segment key players into leaders, challengers and disruptors. Applying market sizing, primary and secondary research skills for detailed competition analysis.
-Developing strong understanding of market ecosystem and building industry value chain for reports. Tracking key developments and trends across each segment in the value chain pertaining to research topic.
-Target audience for our reports is CEOs and CIOs, so precise and concise writing skill and thought leadership in TMT is a must.
-Gatekeeper to thematic models, notably our thematic engine which scores 600 TMT companies against 50 themes.
-Work closely with other sector teams in GlobalData to incorporate data from their divisions into our single theme reports.
-Potentially present reports to senior executives and respond to media queries and requests.
