Role Purpose :
FIG, Corporate and Funds sectors in supporting them in preparing credit applications to seek credit limits on behalf of their clients, and related operational support.

Globally, CAU teams currently support coverage teams in 32 countries, while the Offshore CAU team comprises 300 staff operating out of 4 locations (Bangalore, Kolkata, Kuala Lumpur and Guangzhou), supporting RMs in 16 countries.
CAU Funds is a part of CAU that primarily supports the Institutional Clients Group (ICG). ICG largely caters to HSBCs Funds / Asset Manager clients. The CAU Funds team is an operations group that is largely involved in supporting the on-boarding of new Funds into the portfolio, limit setting and monitoring, post-sanction processing, and conducting annual reviews on the portfolio.
Key activities of the team are:
– Prepare scorecards and proposals in order to facilitate credit approval of funds.
– Carry out credit review of funds annually or as required.
– Provide a variety of other data-processing, analytical and documentation services as required.
The CAU Funds team is seeking an experienced professional for the position of Manager Operations that will broadly carry a combination of people and process management responsibilities.
Qualifications MBA in Finance.
Additional certifications in Mutual Funds, Capital Markets and Financial Products will be a plus.
Experience Candidate must have had at least 5 years experience in a financial institution, and must have managed teams for
at least 3 years.
Skills Excellent understanding of financial markets & instruments (required).
Background in Banking Operations (required).
Exposure to handling high volumes of financial data (required).
Exposure to the mutual funds/asset management industry (preferred).
Candidates current/past profiles should have involved extensive interactions with diverse
Stakeholders.
Ability to multi-task and deliver results in a fast paced environment.
Highly proficient in Excel and Word (required).
Excellent communication skills written & verbal.
Highly customer oriented and interested in providing top quality customer service.
