- The Sterling OMS developer is responsible for translating the client’s business requirements into specific order management system, application or process designs.
- Sterling OMS developer should interact technical leads, architects and other team members to determine project scope and vision, set system goals, identify and resolve system issues,
- Ensure the system is implemented as designed and in adherence to the implementation guidelines.
- Partners with the business analysts to review and refine business requirements into core system capabilities.
- Assists developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and validating solutions that meet business requirements.
- Prototypes new requirements for enhancing technical functionalities and information process flow.
- Develops and/or configures builds, reviews and unit tests software/solutions.
- Assists in QA efforts on tasks worked by providing input for test cases and supporting test case execution.
- Works directly with the business users to provide support including design and development of customer training materials, and conducting customer training sessions.

Qualification:
-
- 3 to 7 years experienced with Sterling OMS/WMS/MCF / IBM Selling and Fulfillment Suite implementations required.
- IBM Sterling Order Management Deployment 9.1 Certification is preferred
- Candidate needs to have extensive experience in developing ecommerce applications using Sterling order management.
- Should be a SME on IBM Sterling Call Center for customization using Web Call Center applications
- Strong technical and problem solving abilities are needed.
- Client facing or consulting experience highly preferred.
- Skilled problem solvers with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions.
- Flexible and adaptable attitude, disciplined to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to varied environments.
- Future technology leaders- dynamic individuals energized by fast paced personal and professional growth.
- Phenomenal communicators who can explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high level decision makers.
- Bachelors Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major.
- Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design.
- Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
- Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.
