Driver Manager Full Time
Job Description
Duties to include but not limited to:
-Makes safety-conscious decisions. Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures
-Makes sound decisions which balance all sides of the “Value Triangle” (customer, driver, business) which result in a high degree of efficiency and effectiveness
-Provides on-going direction and leadership to driver and internal associates to ensure superior customer service and key factor achievement through the use of the Performance Management Model
-Establishes solid business relationships and maintains open, accurate and timely two-way communications with drivers and internal associates
-Facilitates driver and internal non-exempt associate individual development, education, and training through daily coaching and regular business partnerships and performance appraisals

Our preferred candidate will have:
-Four year college degree or equivalent work experience in transportation, logistics or leadership required.
-Demonstrated excellence as an empowering leader with strong coaching and mentoring skills
-Strong work ethic with a professional, positive attitude
-Creative problem-solving skills and ability to evaluate multiple solutions to make sound decisions
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
