Location : Coimbatore
Roles and Responsibility :
Position: Deputy Manager Purchase
Salary: 8Lac to 9Lac
Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 6 to 8 years in purchase function in a motor manufacturing industry
Purpose of the Role:
- To develop parts of LV motors meeting Quality, Cost and Delivery.
- To establish quality system at supplier’s place for critical raw material used in Low voltage motors.
- Continuous improvement of supplier processes to achieve better quality.
- Should have knowledge of quality systems
Knowledge Required:
- Knowledge of critical raw materials used in motor
- Knowledge of quality systems, problem solving methods
- hands on experience at a similar function in a motor industry
- Six sigma green/black belt certification
- Fundamentals of magnetic/structural/thermal design
- Knowledge of Electrical rotating machine design principle and construction.
- Hands on experience in implementation of systems like KANBAN or lean systems.
