Role Overview:-
Experience: 10+ Yrs
Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory/storage product line. May also be allocated a particular channel or market segment.
Principal Accountabilities:
Solid experience in Government Sales –
Deep understanding of Storage products
This job represents a balanced sales effort of storage product and services knowledge and selling skills. Partners with the Direct Sales AE to grow the territory/account base to attain financial objectives. Understands customers’ business and storage solutions requirements
Territory/account management, including account planning and storage sales forecasting
Customarily and regularly engaged with storage decision makers at client facilities in performing primary duties. Leads storage sales process and utilizes all available resources to manage account. Supports a range of accounts
Gains access and manages relationships with distributor managers
Interfaces directly with customers to ensure satisfaction with our storage solutions
Full understanding of how the our business model relates to selling our storage products and services. Secondary point of contact but may escalate customer issues/concerns as appropriate.
Qualification:
Typically specializes in a particular segment and/or channel
Intermediate level account manager
Able to negotiate with others to achieve desired results/meet customer needs
Resolves less complex issues that have been escalated by junior team members
Able to influence others to achieve results
In-depth knowledge of and skilled in contract
interpretation, negotiations and project management
In-depth knowledge of strategic planning
In-depth knowledge of company products and services
In-depth oral, written, and presentation communication skills to interact with upper leadership, staff, vendors and clients
Typically requires 11+ years of related experience
in a relationship selling role with a Bachelor’s degree
