DATACENTER PROJECT MANAGER Full Time
Job Description
Responsibilities:
As a successful Datacenter Project Manager, your performance objectives will consist of:
· Empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of datacenter activities
· Establish and enhance strong working relationships with customers
· Create and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on time delivery
· Plan, manage, and communicate end-to-end project plans with stakeholders and teams
· Perform day to day project check-in and update to manage project delivery and quality
· Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities and communicate to stakeholders and other teams to drive resolution
· Gather and provide feedback on lessons learned, best practices, and innovations on process/procedures and tools to improve efficiencies and productivity
· Work with various Engineering, Operations, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, DC Build Managers, and Regional Technical Infrastructure Managers during project planning and execution
· Perform and execute organization’s safety programs and policies, as well as compliance knowledge assessments
Qualifications :
Required Skills and Experience :
· 2+ Years’ experience in a production, mission-critical, 24x7x365 operations environment
· Valid license to drive standard street-legal automatic transmission vehicles within your DC’s local jurisdiction
· Ability to support frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50lbs, and working at heights
· Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
· Willingness to work flexible hours, non-business hours, or other scenarios required by the flow of operations
Skills and Experience :
· College degree or equivalent work experience
· Working knowledge of physical IT infrastructures (e.g. Servers, SANs, Networking, etc.)
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic and high-pressure environment
