Job Description
Specific skills required:
â– At least 5 years software development experience in an investment banking environment, or equivalent.
â– Strong development skills and experience with CSS, LESS, SASS
â– Strong cross browser development knowledge
â– Excellent knowledge of programming best practices, design patterns etc.
â– Good understanding of UI/UX processes and methodologies
â– Strong interest in continuous improvement and all aspects of software development and delivery
â– Agile practitioner using Scrum.
â– Strong understanding of test driven development and continuous integration practices
â– Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, inside and outside the team.
â– Desire to learn quickly and ability to adapt to a fast changing environment.
â– Strong problem solving skills.
Other must-have technical skills:
â– Development skills and experience with Javascript , Typescript
â– Development skills and experience with the Angular js libraries and other web technologies
â– Front office development experience in any of : Equity derivatives, Credit or Rates products
â– Experience developing large real-time financial trading applications.
â– Experience with real time messaging protocols.
â– Experience with event driven architectures
â– An ability to design performant software and an understanding of application performance profiling.
