Job Description
Leads the development of cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new, and modifying existing, software applications. Analyzes complex systems requirements, existing business processes, and information systems. Codes, tests, and debugs documents, and implements software applications. Undertakes complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge. Coordinates with users to determine requirements that are more complex.
We focus on development of next generation wireless networks and related technologies. Necessary skills include C, C++, and Java scripting experience. Experience with AI and Machine Learning will definitely impress us!
Responsibilities range from coding with related testing, new technology evaluation and research, document proposed solution and whitepapers, rapid prototype development along with technology demonstrations for use at trade shows, etc. Coordinate with telecom architects, researchers, and internal customers to determine requirements.
Looking for a developer to join our Core & Services Technology Innovation & Architecture team. Must have good integration architecture, knowledge of multiple languages, with deployment experience and working knowledge of data or mobile networks:
-Development of prototypes, proofs of concepts and technology demonstrations
-Participation in technology demonstrations
-Evaluation of new technologies including deployment of hardware, software and network configuration as required.
-Software development research and reviewing systems architecture or 3rd party software
-Development, deployment and support of systems and tools for our team and internal customers
Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
-Three years systems development experience
-Three years coding experience
-Three years software application experience
Preferred Qualifications
-B.S. in Computer Science
-Experience in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
-Experience with ANSI, C, C++, Java, Python, and Databases
-Familiar with JSON, REST APIs, latest web technologies, Jenkins, Git, Jira, Bitbucket
-Understanding of mobile core (Evolved Packet Core) related applications / protocols and server hardware technologies
-Ability to work in a team environment and on their own with good verbal and written communication skills
